What to Do

We met in and love the Philadelphia area so wanted to provide some of our favorite things that we like to do as well as some general recommendations of places to visit both near Audubon and in the greater region.

Our Favoriate Places in Philadelphia

Dining:
- PHS Pop Up Garden (South Street) - Where first met! Make sure to get a frozen cocktail
- 1-900 Ice Cream - Where we got our first "meal" together after we met for drinks
- Loco Pez - Where we got takeaway from the night we got engaged. Grab Eda's favorite Strawberry Margarita
- Illata - The Bib Gourmand Restraunt around the corner from our house
- Ambrosia BYOB - Our first true meal together and one of many cozy corner Italian spots you can find in Philly
- Monster Vegan - Go-to Vegetarian spot for Ben's Birthday
- Locust Rendezvous ("the Vous") - Our favorite dive bar and spot for a pre-show drink
- Sally - Where Eda's friends met Ben for the first time
- Devil's Alley - Inexplicably one of Ben's favorite bars, Eda has enjoyed a drink or two with the Dickinson crowd there
- Rival Bros - Eda's go to spot for an iced coffee and the beginning of a long walk
Explore
- Schuylkill River Park - The site of our engagement photo shoot and our favorite local park. Head over Sunday morning for the farmer's market or at any time to enjoy the up-for-grabs Adirondack chairs and ample dogs hanging out
- Boathouse Row - A favorite of ours to run or stroll past alongside the Schuykill river trail, but beautful in it's own right
- Rittenhouse Square Park - Where we enjoyed our ice cream after our first date and a wonderful place to sit and people watch. An early meeting ground part way between where we lived before we moved in together too!
- John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge - The nation's first ubrna refuge and a wonderful escape for some pre Audubon bird watching (also very close to the airport). It was here on a joyful winter walk where we first started discussing what our wedding could look like

Things to do closer to Audubon

Explore the Schuylkill River Trail, if you fancy a 20+ mile trip one-way you can take it all the way to where Eda and Ben had their engagement photo shoot (see Photos tab for more). There are also much smaller loops and segments you can enjoy in the area
Visit Valley Forge National Historic Park where the Continental Army took refuge during the winter of 1777-1778
Shop at King of Prussia Mall with over 400+ stores, the 4th largest mall in the United Staes
Be amazed by the The American Treasure Tour Museumasure Tour Museum that is sure to bring out your smiles
